- Any public or private, Iraqi, Arab, regional or international organization wishing to participate must register via the exhibition website no later than September 1st
- All publishing houses participating in the exhibition are requested to send one copy of their publications for the current year to the exhibition management.
- The exhibition management has the right to apologize for the participation of any of the registered applicants without giving reasons.
- The exhibition management adheres to the blacklists sent by the Arab Publishers Association or local associations and is applied after updating, even if the update is during the exhibition period.
- The exhibition management is the reference in all matters related to the exhibition and has the right to make decisions and resolve all disputes, and no other party may object to its decisions.
- Applicants must have at least 75 publications for foreign publishers and 50 publications for local publishers and have at least 15 new publications for the year
- Picking up the booths will start on Sunday for local publishers and Monday for Arab publishers and will end at 12pm on the day before the opening.
- According to the instructions of the fairgrounds management, no sealed packages can be kept inside the booth after the end of the fair, and we will regretfully have to remove them from the booth and deliver them after the end of the fair.
- The exhibition management has the right to close the unfinished booth before the opening and cancel the publisher’s participation
- To maintain the unified format of the exhibition, the management has provided all the requirements of the publishers (tables, shelves, sheets, booth names, receipt books, banners, and bags) Therefore, we ask you to adhere to what is available and not to bring anything outside the exhibition’s assets and equipment.
- Obligation to give the buyer two copies of the white and green invoice with detailed titles, number of books, and booth number. Any book sold without an invoice of these specifications will be returned.
- To provide you with the best service, supply orders are received from the warehouse throughout the day and are processed by the showroom management after the end of business on that day.
- Each package stored in the warehouse must have a packing slip that exactly matches its contents.
- The maximum storage limit per publishing house is 20 parcels.
- The publisher has the right to enter at 9:00 a.m. The exhibition is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 10:00 p.m.
- The fair management is not responsible for confiscating books that provoke sectarian and ethnic strife and offend beliefs.
- Accessories, stationery, mugs, and clothing are not allowed to be displayed inside the exhibition.
- Adhere to the prices in the listings uploaded on the website, and the publisher is obliged to offer a discount of at least 25%.
- If the prices of the books are exaggerated, the price will be changed by the exhibition management without referring to the publisher.
- The publisher must adhere to the list of publications uploaded on the website, and the exhibition management has the right to withhold any book that is not included in the list.
- The exhibition management is not responsible for not obtaining the government visa if the publisher fails to send the required data after the stipulated deadline of one week from the date of approval.
- The exhibition management is not responsible for not obtaining a government visa in case of name similarity or any other reason beyond its control.
- Exhibitors who have been granted powers of attorney for institutions and publishing houses at the exhibition must submit a request for power of attorney through the special form no later than September 1, and the forms are available on the website in both Arabic and English, and the maximum limit is two powers of attorney for each participant.
- Send a signed and sealed power of attorney from the publishing house with a list of books within the specified dates and after this date, the exhibition management has the right to apologize for not accepting the power of attorney.
- After the exhibition management has reviewed the power of attorney sent by you and stamped with the exhibition seal, it is considered approved and you can deliver the books to the shipper.
- Paying agency fees during the first three days of the exhibition, the first agency is 100 dollars and the second agency is 200 dollars, otherwise the agency is considered canceled.
- The exhibition management has the right to approve or apologize for any power of attorney and prevent the display of any book without a power of attorney.
- The deadline for payment is November 15, and the exhibition management has the right to cancel the participation of non-payers.
- The deadline for apologizing for participation is two months before the opening date, and the apology must be sent by email to the exhibition management, otherwise the participant is obliged to pay all financial obligations.
- Publishing houses participating in children’s books are obliged to display books and educational aids, and toys and stationery are prohibited.
- The exhibition management has the right to close the booth if counterfeit or reproduced books are available or if price gouging is proven more than once.
- Exchange or assignment of booths from the participant to any other party is prohibited.
- Do not alter or tamper with the shelves, tables or sheets, and do not place posters (stickers) on the front of the pavilion.
- It is forbidden to display political and religious images and slogans inside the pavilions and corridors of the exhibition.
- Notify the exhibition management of any event or signing ceremony that the publisher wishes to hold for the purpose of obtaining approval.
- The publisher is entitled to ship 8 eight parcels per one square meter.
- If the publisher does not pay the financial dues, the exhibition management has the right to seize the books and confiscate them after a month.
